Hello! I purchased a used '73 back in '78 as my first bike, 16YO kid with a learner's permit. Rode the hell out of it... Dad said "that engine sounds like it'll blow up any minute... better get rid of it"
Fast forward to 2009, I've had many bikes, never without one. The vintage itch began, I heard about an auction in Bridgewater, MA the Bettencourt collection. Ron Wood's website had a list, included is a TX. I went with a friend.. when the TX came up, I was the only bidder, snickers from the crowd. But they didn't know I was attempting to relive my mis-spent youth!
