I figure I should share my TX750 / motorcycle interest as well. My TX750 was my first bike, and I will hold onto it forever, no matter how many headaches it may cause. The bike had sat in a barn for over 20 years and had less than 6,000 miles on it. I got the bike running and made a few minor changes to it. Next in the lineup of projects is a 1983 Yamaha Venture Royale that I am turning into a naked custom cruiser. None of the plastics / body panels on the bike were any good. The bike had been laid down, but has just over 20K miles on it. Going to make this bike a one-off low budget custom bike. Last on the list is a '78 XS650 that will be turned into a true kick-only cafe racer. The bike had sat and has approximately 10K miles on it. All my bikes run, but aren't all roadworthy. I enjoy tinkering with bikes as much as I like riding them. Not afraid of failure or trying something different.

Venture is a de-tuned VMAX engine.
That is currently my big Winter project.
All of the plastics.. ie.. fairing / fenders, tank cover, ect... are being removed and will have more of a V-Star / cruise look to it. Working on the mechanical stuff right now to make sure everything works.
Bike was a basket case when I got it. Definitely going to use some creativity on it.
