Here's my 1973 TX750 Café racer. I live in Sarnia Ontario Canada. I enjoy riding this bike a lot. I've put about 13,000 mi on in the last 2 1/2 years. I don't know of any other TX750 Yamahas around these parts.
Here's a link to a video of this bike. Attachments:

Hey Al. I often look at this video when things aren't going right and I need a little inspiration.
Dig that song too. Who does that?

The bike is awesome.
It is always great to see people restore bikes, but I am one to modify and make a one-off machine. +1 for you and those who have spend numerous hours keeping your TX750's maintained.
Keep up the awesome work.

Hey Al. If I remember right, didn't you use mikesxs fork gators. Is there a ridge or something that fits in the groove of the fork lower. How are they secured with such a clean look. How about a close up pic.
I went with the Rancho gators and I'm having a hard time coming with with a clean looking install on the lower part.

Yes Cal, I used these www.mikesxs.net/product/27-1089.html The bottom of the gaitor attaches to the groove in the fork leg quite nicely, for the top I inserted an old fork seal inside the gaitor and secured it with a black cable tie. Works good, no problems.

The rear loop is great, I think you might get a really cool non traditional but aggressive café look if you follow he loop with the bottom line of your seat.

The XS has a similar rear loop. I just searched for images and a lot of people follow the loop line for the back of their seat. Some do it well, some do it horribly wrong. Do a search for XS650 café and you'll find tons of sea ideas.
