Does anybody have a late edition service manual covering the adjustable balancer shaft update? Or a link to one? I found some of it on Toby Folwick's defunct web site but although the text is complete, some pictures have gone amiss. I would love to have a PDF of just that section so I can start updating my spare engine. Thanks.

Hi there and welcome to this ghostly forum. I have a 4th edition manual and within it a section covering installation procedure of the balancer shaft set and includes about 36 pics/diagrames! what part are you looking for? John

Thank you, John. I'm primarily interested in the pictures as I was able to retrieve all the text pertaining to installing the adjustable balancer shaft. But without the pictures there's a lot left to imagination, and with imagination comes screw ups.

Roger,on looking closley at the thumbnail pics 50x40mm in my photocopied manual I would not be able to follow a rebuild. I've goggled Tx pdf sites and perhaps they might have what your after? John

OK, will do. Thank you for giving it a shot.
Update: I located and ordered a 4th Edition manual dated December 1973. Let the balancer upgrade begin! Has anybody sourced a suitable replacement for the balancer chain?
