Dear All,
I`m putting together my engine and noticed that the crankshaft has about 0.25 mm axial free play. If i place the crankshaft into an upgraded engine case, the free play is negligible, so it seems depending on the year of manufacture. I don`t remember seeing shims on the crankshaft when I pulled the engine apart, have you guys seen shims on the crankshaft? What should be the correct end float at the crank?
