Hi all so glad to be a member just when i was starting to think i was the only one in Europe with a TX750. I will be spending some time reading through all these threads but firstly i wanted tell you about my TX 750 American import. The engine starts and runs well i have got this up and running, changed the oil filter to a BMW replacement retrofit conversion. I have got the starter working after much to do with the starter and clutch and stator removal searching and finding similar parts. Lots of fun with points dwell timing mixture - still dont know if its ok but runs. Working now on the master cylinder replacement. I am hoping the pain i have been through will help others and the pain other have been through will help me

Hi mate, I've only had mine a week & have that pain to go through yet!!!!!! Spent last few says looking for oil filter conversion but no luck yet.........

Hi royb I changed mine for a retrofit paper filter cost £4.00 i have the original still if i need it. So if you need details let me know. i haven't read though the forum but we aren't the first to want an alternative as the original just doesn't seem to be around

Cheers mate, I read a technical thread about an adaptor that was needed to be able to use a paper filter & asked about getting one but had no answer yet.........
