Mufflers being 36" long plus the portion that fits into the female flared joint of the down tube. which is 24.5".

Had another run on the TX today. Not smoking as much as it did. Not sure the motor sounds too good.

Not having original silencers I have tried several aftermarket sets. Finding most to be too noisy, I finally decided to fit Triumph T140 silencers. These I find are nice and quiet, I can now hear the engine rattling.

Hi all. I have fitted Triumph T140 silencers to my TX. They are a passable alternative, readily available, and not expensive.
