Still awaiting delivery, but looking forward to digging in and riding! I had been searching for months for the right CB750 and stumbled across the TX750. Starting reading the story and history of these bikes, and was hooked immediately!!. Glad I found this forum as I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions and discussion. Let the adventure begin!

Welcome to the forum! Where in the world are you as TX's now seem to have migrated in small quantities just about everywhere you find bike enthusiasts? Is your bike running yet and able to be ridden, or do you have work to do to get it there yet? Good luck with your own TX adventure! Bike addict Sussex England

Bike runs great, 7,400 miles showing. Obviously some Mod work has been done. Needs the acrbs balanced out and cleaned and the front disc is a little soft. I'm going to have it gone over completely next week to make sure it's in the best running shape possible.

Hi all you guys. Finally recieved my Dec 72 TX here in The South Island of New Zealand in December last year. Bike was purchased ex Ebay from Long Island New York and trucked to Elizabeth New Jersey. Sat in a warehouse there for over a year then trucked to Long Beach California where a title was obtained in my name. Then shipped to New Zealand. Bike was pretty complete ,just missing mufflers, ignition switch, side covers and the petrol tank cap. While i had been waiting for the bike i obtained a very good set of side covers and the ignition switch. Bike looked to be in very good condition and had the extended oil sump and no engine numbers. Did the BMW oil filter conversion, cleaned and tuned everything, fixed the non working kick starter [easy,no cost] and obtained a petrol tank cap from a wrecked TX500 tank in Michigan. Inside of the tank was full of rust but tank still very useable. Got a heap of interchable stuff from Mikes XS in Florida . Put gas in it and a new battery, bike started and ran first push of the button.Runs superbly and is now used regularly. Fitted Emglo mufflers with an slightly upswept extender between the original header pipes and the new mufflers. Bike has 16000 miles on it and has been very well looked after during its life in the USA. Has a cert of fitness label on the fork leg for Oct 97 so looks like it has been off the road for 20 years. Now used regularly in New Zealand and sits beside a 74 TX650. Bikes in NZ over 40 years old are very cheap to have on the road [register]$58.00 per year. Both bikes share the 650s rego and cert [warrant of fitness]. the 750 is adream to ride, so smooth. See pictures and video on TX Downunder
