Hi all, I have a 1973 TX750 that I am going to be working on in the near future. It was my uncle's and has been sitting with gas in it since the summer of 1977. It has been in my garage my entire life. I can't remember if I was looking as a guest on this site or another one that doesn't exist anymore back in 2013 and ended up buying the oil filter adaptor from Jim Dishman. I also picked up the service manual from ebay and I have the Cycle World with it on the cover. I remembered that I needed an oil pan spacer and just bought one of the new ones that someone made a batch of for a pretty penny off of ebay today. I don't know how active this site still is but I look forward to interacting and hopefully picking everyones brain. I am currently rebuilding my KLR 650 and probably have another month or so before I wrap that project up and then I can start on the TX. Nice to meet you all. - Josh

Good luck with your build. That is a long time sitting in the garage. Will be interesting to bring it back to life. Mike
