Front, Center and Rear of 1973 TX750 USA Sales Brochure. I've never seen a sales brochure for the 1974 TX750A model which was burgundy wine in color. Someone said that because they discontinued the TX750 early in the 1974 model run that no brochures were produced.

Page 8 and 9 from the 'Yamaha Motorcycle Accessories & Specialties' catalog which sold for $.50. It is Yamaha Lit 11190-05-74. Thanks to Craig Baumann for making this catalog available for me to purchase.

'Timeless Touring' is also the theme of this 3-panel Australian brochure from 1973. See if you can spot the error on the 3rd panel. The author obviously was thinking of the TX500. It also shows a competition green tank, which I've never seen offered in the USA. I purchased this one as well from John Bishop.

So goes the poetry from the 1974 Street Brochure. Inside was shown the entire line of street machines and I have scanned the TX models. This is the only color photo of the burgundy wine TX750 I have found in any official Yamaha advertising brochures. | Get aboard the Silver Bird,
It's a magical machine.
Satisfy your Walter Mitty mind,
tryin' out a dream.
Your sign is Capricorn and
every corner of your mind
says you'll remain my friend,
a friend for all my time.
Yamaha, won't you fly me away,
Yamaha, take me into the day,
Yamaha, come and give me a ride
and let us go see
what's on the other side.
Yamaha, won't you fly me away.
Yamaha, today is the day. |

Harry Moses sent along these images of the front and rear cover from the 1973 Canadian TX750 brochure. The same error that was in the text of the Australian brochure also appears here.
