Hi All, New member, figured I would share my ongoing custom TX750 chopper project. Started with a 12,683 mi complete bike that hadn't seen the road since 82'. I stripped it completely and have sold off some of the parts to help others keep their original bikes going( I see one member here who bought some of them) and will sell off the rest soon. Essentially , the only TX parts reused are the engine, wheels, and 1/4 of the frame. I'll just throw up some pics and you can see where it's going. Adapted TC Bros hardtail intended for XS650, added 4" stretch.

Hours and hours of multi-level sanding and polishing to bring back the aluminum parts.

Where she is today in the garage. Working on front brakes, running cable to sport bike rear master (hidden inside tool bag) then fluid to caliper allows me to use the nice brass levers I have.

Hi All, been a while since I returned to the site. I actually finished ‘Balls Out’ in 2018 and have had a few good years of riding so far. The bike has picked up hardware at every show it’s been in including one of the shows at the Broken Spoke in Laconia during bike week 2018 and the Cycle Source show at the Roadhouse during the 2019 bike week. It has been a ball to ride. It doesn’t get out too often as I have a couple other bikes that the wife likes to ride on better. It is a hard tail but my seat is sprung using an adjustable Fox mountain bike shock/spring. The removable passenger seat and sissy bar are also sprung using valve springs, intake valves, keepers and seats from a ‘63 VW.
