Hi, I'm a 58-year automotive engineer. Living now in Helsinki, born in Lapinlahti, Middle-Finland.I admired XS2 when I was 18. Had no money for such a big bike in those days. I had a small Yamaha and Simson 425. Later I have had a bit extra money but no time. Couple of years a go I decided to start a XS650 project. After that I got interested about sophisticated TX750. First TX750 bike was an original Finnish registration. It was in very poor condition missing a lot of parts. I am 16th owner!! Engine was also in very bad condition. Now it is re-build having a museum bike status. Colour is gold orange
Second one was a TX750 from Denmark (VagnJensen). It is now in my brothers garage.
Third one was a real beauty from North-Dakota via UK. I'm the second registrated owner. 1520 miles in clock!! Original Yokohama tyres similar as in brochures. Rubber must be very hard with minimal friction. Colour is red maroon.
Also I have a fourth one from US/UK import.
Next project might be XS500 that I fould from UK.
My youngest brother has a project with similar maroon red. It is also US origin. There are few hundred s/n numbers between.
I have no exact numbers of TX750s in Finland. Original registration in years 1973-1974 might be 100...200.
It might be interesting to gather serial numbers here in this forum. Of course two digits from end can be left away.
Mine TX750s are:
341-5038xx (original Finland import, orange gold but original colour is dark green)
341-0223xx (maroon red from North Dakota via UK)
341-0053xx (from US via UK, orange gold)
341-5039xx (from DK, cognac)
Smaler twins
XS650B is 447-1121xx
XS500B is 371-2131xx

edit
XS500B is actually not in range of this forum as well as XS650. However, they both are little brothers of TX750 so I will introduce also my XS500 here. XS500 has also omni-phase ballancer (only one rotating axle and 540deg firing phase)
